About the author:
Born in Lawrence, Kansas, Donita K. Paul is a best-selling contemporary Christian Fiction novelist. Her book DragonSpell, the first of the DragonKeeper Chronicles, won a finalist medal in the 2005 Christy Awards. Under the name of Kathleen Paul, she has also written some romances and juvenile novels.
Although Donita wrote often as a teenager, and later even got a romance novel published that she wrote for her 13-year-old daughter, it wasn’t until she got a leg infection that she stopped working as a teacher and began writing seriously.
It was the challenge of writing “something different, bigger, deeper” from Donita’s own mother that brought about the DragonKeeper Chronicles. Donita has been writing since!
